Product Type Analysis - Ultrasonic Flow Meter
(1) Ultrasonic flowmeter is an instrument that measures flow rate by utilizing changes in the propagation speed of ultrasonic waves in a fluid. This flowmeter measures the time difference of ultrasonic propagation in the fluid by emitting and receiving ultrasonic pulses, thereby calculating the flow velocity and flow rate of the fluid. Ultrasonic flow meters have been widely used in industrial and civilian fields due to their non-contact measurement, strong anti-interference ability, and wide measurement range.
(2) The working principle of ultrasonic flowmeter is mainly based on Doppler effect and time difference method. In the Doppler effect, when ultrasound encounters moving fluid molecules, it produces a change in frequency. By measuring this frequency change, the flow velocity of the fluid can be calculated. The time difference rule determines the flow velocity by measuring the time difference between the back and forth propagation of ultrasonic waves in a fluid. Both of these methods enable ultrasonic flowmeters to perform accurate measurements in different fluid media and operating conditions.
(3) The application range of ultrasonic flow meters is very wide, including multiple industries such as petroleum, chemical, water treatment, energy, and environmental protection. It performs well in measuring fluids such as clean water, sewage, petroleum products, chemicals, gases, and steam. In addition, ultrasonic flow meters have the advantages of easy installation, simple maintenance, and easy integration into automation systems, making them an indispensable flow measurement tool in industrial process control. With the continuous advancement of technology, the measurement accuracy and reliability of ultrasonic flow meters are also constantly improving.
